  If you feel this is important, I'd much rather you email me (Paul Kuenn) a short paragraph of why you feel a better plan is needed. I will share this with both the DNR and the friends group (which I still belong to).

Please sign this petition (best if you just email me or print doc below to have friends sign) if you want to save the future of Devil’s Lake State Park and stop the building of the proposed environmentally unsustainable Interpretive Center on the north shore of Devil's Lake by the Friends of Devil’s Lake State Park, Baraboo Devil’s Lake Concession Corp. and the DNR. Yes, we could use an interpretive center but one that is environmentally protective and based on PHIUS Passive Building zero energy design https://www.phius.org/ and not one that degrades the view of Devil’s Lake. It would best to build near an entrance highway along the perimeter of the park where it won’t cause congestion in the already crowded parking lots of the lake’s north shore. 

To help us find common ground with those who have begun funding the project, please write to pkuenn@gmail.com so we can add a line or two on Protectdevilslake.org to show why you care about the need to protect the immediate surroundings of the lake. 

I haven't figured a way to have a live petition on this website so for now you'll need to download the WORD doc and have friends sign it and you can email it or just send a photo of it for our tabulations.
